• The bell was purchased in 1800 to replace an earlier bell that may have come from Canada during the French and Indian wars.

• The bell has been moved to three church buildings in Weston: the 1721 church building, the 1840 church building, and the 1888 fieldstone church.

• The bell tolls on special occasions, such as September 11, Covid deaths, and on the Green.
